If I were to put that kind of money into an engine, though, I'd want the assurance that it can handle it and not throw a rod or crack a head or blow a gasket. Plus, with the upgraded parts like lighter connecting rods, stronger valvetrain components, you can rev it up higher (8k rpm :)
